Alternative Minds is committed to playing an active role in the community by undertaking consultancy work on a not for profit basis with selected charities and voluntary organisations. Additionally, Alternative Minds undertakes pro bono work as mentors for small businesses both independently and as part of Setsquared and Surrey Enterprise Hub. SETsquared is the innovation programme of four southern UK universities which provides start-up businesses with the necessary management expertise to test the feasibility of their idea and develop it to the stage where it is investment ready and able to trade. The Surrey Enterprise Hub is a community for innovative companies based in Surrey, and Alternative Minds is pleased to provide the advice, services and mentoring that these young businesses need to help them grow successfully.
