David is Professor of Marketing at the School of Management, University of Surrey.
David is involved in all areas of marketing consultancy, including Relationship Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Market Research,
Research Methods and Marketing Management.
David is a former Research Director of the Thomas Cook Research
Centre and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the service and tourism sectors,
with over 60 published articles and books, including Tourism: Principles and Practice (highest UK sales of any tourism text), plus Retail Marketing and Retail Marketing Management (adopted by many Universities).
With many years experience in operational marketing as Product Manager and Marketing Manager in Rank Leisure,
David is also an experienced executive coach, mentor and trainer.
